Held at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in Westminster on the 27th and 28th April 2009, the fourth National Digital Inclusion Conference is set to be the most exciting event yet, inspiring delegates to think creatively about their own role in delivering the step-change needed to enable all citizens to benefit from digital technology.
Bringing together over 300 experts, decision-makers and practitioners, from across government, the public, private and third sectors the conference will debate digital inclusion policy and practice, and shape the agenda for action that delivers 'empowerment through technology'.
Chaired by Matthew Taylor, Chief Executive of the RSA, delegates will be guided through a rich programme of debate by those leading the way in the fields of digital inclusion, social exclusion, transformational government and technology, set to include The Rt Hon. Paul Murphy MP, Minister for Digital Inclusion, Jim Knight MP, Minister for Schools, Baroness Andrews, Minister for Communities as well as leading speakers from NHS Choices, UK online centres, DC10plus and many more.
In addition to the main plenary sessions, the conference will offer a choice of four themed work streams focusing on; 21st Century Learning, Health and Well-being, Communities and eDemocracy.
