Next Gen Roadshow
CBN and Alcatel-Lucent with support from DC10plus have joined forces to run a series of Next Generation Broadband events to discuss the economic and business issues, technologies, what local communities are doing about next generation broadband and how a national framework for local action is being created. Registrations for the Roadshows are open and the first Roadshow kicked off in Gateshead on 18 March.
The next dates are:
- 22nd April – Birmingham, the Maple House Conference Centre - Stakeholders and partners will discuss ambitious plans for the West Midlands.
- 13 May – Hampshire, venue to be confirmed – eHampshire and partners will set out their vision for Hampshire and the South East.
- June – Manchester, date and venue to be confirmed
Each Roadshow has been designed to take the debate further. The Roadshows are intended for key influencers and senior staff in local councils, Regional Development Agency officials, planners, developers, business, community groups and other stakeholders.
